Ferroman takes home order

Ferroman Engineering AB, Gothenburg and DTEC Site Services Ltd. have been contracted to conduct the audit, inspection and mechanical work in the maintenance shutdown at Preem Refinery in Lysekil in September 2013.
This maintenance job is one of the largest in Scandinavia and will be done with about 160 specialists from DTEC and Ferroman. Approximately 210 columns, towers and vessels shall be examined and verified.
We are very proud of the contract and see it as a breakthrough in the Nordic market. Our hope is to be able to implement more contracts in the coming years, says Anders Regnér and Steve Colclough in a press release.

Lars Ramde is based in our office in Gothenburg and he began his employment at Ferroman on February 4th.
Lars has a solid background in the steel area. He started 1975 at the former company Söderberg & Haak and has since then worked with several steel suppliers in Sweden. The last eight years, Lars worked with imports of steel from Italy.
Lars will work together with Mikael Berthagen in the business area Special Steel to increase and develop the Scandinavian market with steel from our suppliers in Italy and Germany.

Per Ling began his employment at Ferroman on March 1. He is based in Torshälla.
Per will be responsible for all technical issues in our coating projects.
Per has for many years worked as an operator on surface coating machines. This means that he has long practical experience on what steps to take in order to find the correct layer for a product.
KMAB makes an investment

Ferromans partner Karlstad Metallisering has made an investment in a new HVOF facility for high quality cold-sprayed coatings
The CastoJet CJK5 is a kerozene fuelled High Velocity Oxy-Fuel system using mass flow control for repeatable coating quality. It produces dense metallic or carbides coatings. The operator interface is simple to follow using a touch screen interface.
The investment is an important step for Karlstad Mtallisering. The goal is to become one of Swedens leading suppliers of HVOF Coating.
